Our family has been farming the riches of the terroir of Ville-Dommange since the late 19th century.
We own the land and harvest it ourselves, and our family vineyards classed as Premier Cru flourish on the northern slopes of Montagne de Reims. The three grape varieties of Pinot Meunier, Pinot noir and Chardonnay give us the possibility to create rich blends by perfectly complementing each other.
We tend to the vines in a way to let them express the terroir they grow on while respecting biodiversity. We choose to work manually and mechanically, we use mating disruption, natural sodding, and tillage with horses, planting hedges, etc.
Once in the cellars, the cuvées are developed with particular care. Blending is a delicate art. We harmonise the aromas of our 3 grape varieties - Pinot noir, Meunier and Chardonnay by adjusting their flavours, making the most of their characteristics and eventually finding the best balance for each cuvée.
Our most prestigious cuvées are still stirred by hand, on a pulpit, as was done by our ancestors.
This is precise work - traditional skills combined with a constant quest for excellence - which results in the creation of exceptional cuvées, each with its own personality and style.
